Description
The District seeks a complete cabling infrastructure project at four school sites, including removal of existing wiring and installation of approximately 11,000 feet of CAT6 cabling per site, or equivalent. The contractor must provide associated equipment and components, including surface-mount boxes, keystone jacks, faceplates, patch panels, patch cords, and J-hook supports. All cabling runs must be labeled, tested, and certified, and the contractor must provide test results and as-built drawings. The project must be completed by September 30, 2028. Bidders must hold a valid C-7 license, be a Panduit Certified Installer, have a BICSI RCDD on staff and a BICSI Technician assigned to the project, maintain an office within 50 miles of the District office, and provide evidence of insurance and a bid bond with the proposal. The proposal must include three references, service-provider information, an implementation timeline starting April 1, 2027, a cost proposal for each school site, and completed solicitation forms. Payment and performance bonds are due before project commencement.
