Description
Loomis Union School District seeks proposals for Category Two network switch equipment and related components for its school sites, including Aruba or equivalent switches, modules, power supplies, transceivers, and cables. The scope includes equipment configuration and installation, shipping, taxes, detailed billing, and an implementation timeline. The district also requests pricing for eligible and ineligible equipment and requires vendors to identify E-rate eligibility and service categories. The RFP describes equipment quantities and site-specific cost worksheets; the separate cabling infrastructure procurement is referenced in the Form 470 but is covered by a different RFP. Proposals must address the scope and proposal format, include responder information, a Letter of Agreement, cost proposals, applicable addenda, and completed and signed submittal pages. Responders must provide three references for comparable installations, each with at least three years of service; school, library, or California county office of education references are preferred. The contractor must be a certified reseller, provide a valid SPIN and FCC registration number, and provide evidence of FCC Green Light Status. A mandatory site walkthrough is scheduled for November 13, 2026. The contract is intended as a single-term fixed-price contract, with possible annual renewals up to five consecutive fiscal years if applicable funds are appropriated.
