Description
Washoe County Library System is soliciting proposals for dedicated Internet access with transport service at 11 branch locations. Bidders must price the existing 1 Gbps service and proposed 1.5 Gbps and 2 Gbps options. Services must provide dedicated bandwidth with a committed information rate, terminate at each building's demarcation point, avoid usage caps or throttling, and include all monthly recurring, non-recurring, and special construction charges. Managed routers are not required. Services are needed effective July 1, 2027. Month-to-month and contracted services will be considered; contracted-service proposals should include 36-month and 60-month pricing. Vendors must support SPI discount billing, permit bandwidth increases during the term, and comply with applicable FCC supply-chain restrictions, including the prohibition on covered Huawei and ZTE equipment or services. Pricing is the primary evaluation factor, and proposals that omit required pricing or fail mandatory service requirements may be disqualified.
