Description
The City of Reno seeks a contractor to complete permanent asphalt patches, including saw-cutting patch boundaries, removing temporary patches and unsuitable base material, compacting the trench base, and placing and compacting asphalt pavement. Work also includes locating and raising manholes, vaults, valves, and survey monuments; reconstructing vehicle-detection loops; and repainting pavement markings and striping. Some locations may require milling existing asphalt to a two-inch depth and overlay repaving. The contractor must provide the labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals needed to complete the work. Public-works apprentice requirements under Nevada Revised Statutes 338.01165 apply.
