Description
The City of Farmington is seeking one vendor to provide, customize, alter, and special-order brand-name police uniforms on an as-needed basis. The bid includes body armor carriers, tactical and uniform pants, performance and dress shirts, jackets, parkas, pullovers, and related uniform items from specified brands including Blauer, 5.11, and Sport-Tek. It also includes embroidery, sew-on and hook-and-loop patches, and pant hemming. All quoted items must identify the manufacturer, product number or description, and delivery lead time. This is a purchase contract rather than a rental, with no guaranteed minimum or maximum quantity. Orders must generally be delivered within 15 days unless otherwise agreed, and uniforms must be new, inspected before shipment, and covered by at least a one-year warranty for defects in materials and workmanship. The contract is for one year with three additional one-year renewal periods. The solicitation requires use of the buyer's online bid lines and permits only the specified brands; alternate brands will not be accepted.
