Description

The Saint Louis Zoo is soliciting proposals to select one vendor of record for as-needed youth and adult t-shirts supporting summer camps, overnight programs, preschool programs, volunteer and employee appreciation events, and other special events. The scope includes blank apparel; one-color and multicolor screen printing; full-front, full-back, chest, and sleeve decoration; specialty inks and production techniques; artwork preparation; digital proofs; packaging; and delivery to both Zoo campuses. Vendors must support small runs, youth sizes small through XL, adult sizes small through at least 3XL, sustainable and certified garment options, consistent products, and substitutions only with prior written approval. Screen printing pricing is required even if alternative decoration methods are proposed. The Zoo clarified that it intends to award one vendor of record. Standard production and delivery is expected within 10 business days, rush production within five business days, and reorders within seven business days after receipt of the purchase order and proof approval, subject to mutually agreed written variations. Shortlisted vendors may be asked to bring samples to interviews, with exact sample details communicated later. The Vendor Response Workbook is the controlling response document, and the Technical Proposal is a narrative supplement limited to 20 pages, using 8.5-by-11-inch pages and at least 11-point type. Proposals must include the Technical Proposal, the completed Vendor Response Workbook in its original Excel format, Appendix A pages 16–20 completed and signed separately from the workbook Certification tab, required certifications and product documentation, and any required insurance documentation submitted electronically through the designated procurement portal.
