Description
Riverlife seeks proposals to operate food and beverage concessions from a 21.5-by-8-foot shipping-container space on its Shore Thing floating venue. Proposals must cover the full space and full term; vendors may submit jointly. The operator should offer a quality, affordable menu and proposed operating hours, staffing, marketing, environmental practices, and a plan for outfitting the space. Cooking equipment requiring ventilation is prohibited, so food must be prepared off-site or require minimal on-site preparation. Riverlife favors proposals offering both food and beverages and hours matching the venue’s full schedule. The selected operator will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining required permits and licenses, maintaining insurance, managing sales records and reporting gross receipts, removing waste, cleaning the concession space and common areas, and arranging deliveries and parking. Riverlife will provide a refrigerator, freezer, handwashing sink, seating, and shade; the operator must obtain approval for additional equipment and any alterations. The proposal must include a fee offer of 10% of gross receipts, an operating plan, operating experience with at least three recent relevant references, and a financial statement.
