Description
Allegheny County seeks bids to upfit a van for its Health Department. The requested interior build-out includes a 7 kW gasoline generator and transfer switch; exam, reception, laboratory, and WIC appointment areas; custom cabinetry; an emergency egress window; lighting; hospital-grade flooring; and white FRP wall and ceiling coverings. The van must also include a 15,000 BTU air conditioner, a gasoline-fired heating system, 50-amp shore-power connections and cable, auxiliary batteries and chargers, AC/DC load centers, and a power awning. The scope also includes a hand-washing sink, fresh- and wastewater tanks, and a hot-water tank. Bidders must submit pricing through the electronic bid table and provide the required vendor, sustainability, veteran-owned business, and MWDBE materials. The contract period is December 1, 2026, through December 31, 2028, with a one-year renewal option.
