Description
The City of San Juan Capistrano is soliciting bids for construction of two city entry monuments: one near Old Mission Road and Ortega Highway and one on Camino Capistrano near Costco. The work includes furnishing labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, permits, utilities, and related services; electrical work for LED sign lighting; landscaping and irrigation improvements for associated planters; concrete, masonry, grading, traffic control, and all appurtenances shown in the contract documents. The project has an engineer’s estimate of $430,000 and a 60-calendar-day construction period beginning after the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must submit the City’s bid forms, electronic bid schedule, bid bond, subcontractor list, bidder experience information, non-collusion declaration, Iran Contracting Act certification, public works contractor registration certification, and workers’ compensation certification. The successful bidder must provide 100% performance and payment bonds and required insurance after award.
