Description
The Allentown School District is soliciting proposals for on-call, as-needed Mechanical/HVAC, electrical, and plumbing services for its schools and other District-owned or operated facilities. Respondents may propose one, two, or all three independent service categories. The scope may include preventive maintenance, diagnostics, corrective repairs, emergency response, equipment replacement, system upgrades, testing, code corrections, work-order documentation, and related building-system services. Contractors must provide qualified, licensed personnel, labor, supervision, tools, equipment, materials, permits, transportation, documentation, and other resources required for assigned work. The District may award multiple contracts within each category, with no guaranteed minimum quantity of work or expenditure. Proposals must identify the categories and service designation sought, provide qualifications and experience, trade-specific licenses and certifications, staffing and service-delivery plans, emergency-response capabilities when applicable, FMX work-order capabilities, references, pricing, required certifications, and any exceptions or assumptions. The anticipated term is three years, with up to two additional one-year extension options. Required insurance includes general liability, automobile liability, workers’ compensation, and professional liability; additional cyber coverage may apply when relevant.
