Description
The Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County is requesting Letters of Interest from firms that can demonstrate the qualifications and capabilities to demolish the existing Palm Beach Renewable Energy Facility No. 1 and provide the design, procurement, construction, startup, testing, and long-term operation and maintenance of a new mass-burn waste-to-energy facility. The Authority intends to contract with a single prime contracting entity capable of performing all necessary services under an integrated Demolition, Design, Build, Operate and Maintain project using a full EPC-type delivery structure. Experience with large-scale mass-burn waste-to-energy facilities, power-generation facilities, or other heavy-industrial facilities is essential. Respondents must submit a 10-page Letter of Interest, a Transmittal Letter, a Florida Licensure Acknowledgement Form, and a Vendor Acknowledgement Form as PDF uploads through the procurement portal.
