Description
The Eatonton Putnam Water & Sewer Authority is soliciting proposals from qualified sludge dewatering equipment manufacturers to recommend belt press and related sludge-handling equipment for the Eastside Water Pollution Control Plant. The selected respondent's equipment and configuration will serve as the project's Basis of Design; actual equipment procurement will occur later through the Authority's construction contractor under a separate construction contract. Proposals must address qualifications and municipal experience, technical solution and performance, future expansion from current flows of 0.26 MGD to a potential future flow of 1.0 MGD, service and warranty, equipment footprint and expandability, operating and maintenance considerations, and budgetary pricing. The recommended system must target at least 20% cake solids and 95% solids capture, with information on throughput, polymer and wash-water requirements, electrical service, controls, training, and operating costs. Respondents must submit three to five similar-installation references and describe nearby installations and service capabilities.
