Description
Fisheries and Oceans Canada, through Small Craft Harbours, requires installation of underground HDPE casings through an existing dike at four locations. The work includes electrical and communications casings and pull boxes, waterline casings, rerouting the water supply from an existing asbestos-cement pipe to a new HDPE watermain, and multiple tie-ins to existing water lines and a backflow preventer. The contractor must provide the supervision, labour, materials, equipment, quality control, health and safety practices, environmental protection, and other services needed to complete the work. All work, including cleanup and demobilization, must be completed by March 31, 2027. The solicitation’s amendment changes the bid closing deadline to November 2, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. The posting now estimates a four-month contract period with a proposed start date of November 16, 2026.
