Description
New Mexico PBS seeks an independent contractor or firm to manage and grow its underwriting sales. Responsibilities include maintaining and renewing existing client relationships; developing prospects and new business; selling television, digital, event sponsorship, and other underwriting inventory; preparing customized proposals; negotiating and closing agreements; and maintaining sales records. The contractor will also assist with underwriting copy development and review, ensuring proposed spots comply with applicable FCC requirements and station policies. The station will provide contract processing, production, scheduling, invoicing, collections, and access to existing client records. Proposals should describe qualifications and relevant experience, sales and client-development approaches, references, proposed compensation (commission methodology and monthly travel allowance), and availability and service-area coverage. The anticipated term is December 1, 2026, through November 30, 2027, with possible one-year renewals. The solicitation also requests applicable business-preference certifications; these are conditional on claiming the relevant preference.
