Description
The 32nd District Agricultural Association, operating the OC Fair & Event Center, seeks a contractor to provide full-service sponsorship and advertising sales services. The scope includes developing sponsorship programs and tiered packages; identifying and soliciting sponsors; preparing customized proposals; negotiating sponsorship terms; coordinating approvals and contract execution; overseeing sponsorship benefits, signage, activations, offers, and naming rights; coordinating invoicing and collections; tracking tickets and passes used for client agreements; and providing weekly sales and performance reports. The contractor will support the annual OC Fair, Imaginology, and other self-produced or year-round events, with a focus on increasing cash sponsorship revenue and converting trade arrangements to cash. The contractor must demonstrate at least five years of relevant experience and similar work for at least three comparable businesses. During June through August, sales staff must provide an on-site presence at the venue for at least eight hours per day and be available during relevant event setup, activations, and operating hours. Proposals must include a cover letter, technical proposal, financial proposal bid form, bidder/contractor status form, bidder declaration, required contracting-act forms, and specified experience, recommendation, financial-reference, insurance, and other supporting materials. The agreement is expected to run from December 1, 2026, through November 30, 2028, with three independent one-year renewal options.
