Description
Iowa State University of Science and Technology (ISU) is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for the provision of potting soil. This is a "systems" contract for potting soil, which is stocked in ISU Central Stores and is repetitively purchased on an as-needed basis. Normal delivery for items shall be 5-7 business days after receipt of order. All orders will be placed on an as-needed basis. No substitutions will be allowed. Deliveries will be made to Iowa State University, Attn: Receiving, 195 General Services Bldg., 700 Wallace Road, Ames, IA 50011. Delivery hours are between 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, M-F. The company shall notify Central Stores staff 24 hours in advance of each delivery. Freight and shipping costs must be included in the unit pricing. The initial agreement shall begin on August 16, 2026 (or upon award) and extend through August 15, 2027, with pricing firm through August 15, 2027. Four optional 1-year renewals may be considered based on mutual consent. All bids must be submitted online via ISUBid by the Response Deadline.
