Description
Peoria County seeks qualification statements from contractors to participate in its HUD Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes program. The scope includes residential lead hazard mitigation and abatement, such as window and door replacement, paint stabilization, enclosure, structural repairs, and related healthy-homes work including roof repair, flooring, ventilation, radon mitigation, and safety-device installation. Contractors must provide unit pricing for the listed scope items and comply with applicable HUD, EPA, OSHA, Illinois, and local work-practice requirements, including containment, cleanup, and clearance testing. The initial response package includes the contractor application, priced scope-item sheet, signature sheet, non-collusion affidavit, references, and EEO materials. Contractors selected for the active list must also meet licensing, insurance, and other program requirements before receiving individual projects. Projects are assigned through lowest-quote or contractor-rotation methods; this RFQ establishes participation and pricing rather than a single fixed project award.
