Description
The district is seeking proposals for a 10 Gbps wide-area network connection from its data center at Dunlap Middle School to six district locations. Proposals may offer fully managed leased lit-fiber transport, including any Category One network equipment needed to make the Internet connection functional, or a leased dark-fiber solution that may include construction, maintenance, and operations. One-time construction costs should be identified separately where specified; for the lit-fiber option, they may also be combined with the monthly recurring cost. The district will consider one-year and multiple-year contracts with voluntary extensions. The service provider must be able to start service on July 1, 2027. Proposals must identify the proposed service solution and applicable eligible monthly taxes, fees, and other charges, and include a scope of work for any installation services. The proposal must also identify the provider's SPIN and clearly separate eligible and ineligible products, services, and costs.
