Description
The USDA Agricultural Research Service seeks a contractor to upgrade the facility’s steam condensate system, including replacing steam-driven condensate pumps with electric condensate return units and associated piping, tanks, vents, insulation, and electrical connections. The base bid covers the steam condensate work; separate bid options cover electrical upgrades to Vault 1 and Vault 6, including temporary power, transformers, switchboards, feeders, conduits, demolition, and related equipment. Quotes must include pricing for the base bid and both options, along with technical experience, past-performance examples, and an explanation of how the work will be completed within the performance period. The facility will remain occupied and operational during construction.
