The Bureau of Justice Assistance is soliciting applications for the FY 2026 Paul Coverdell Forensic Science Improvement—Competitive Grants Program. Grant funds support improvements to forensic science services and medical examiner or coroner services, including services provided by laboratories operated by states and units of local government. Eligible applicants include special district governments, city or township governments, county governments, state governments, federally recognized Native American tribal governments, other Native American tribal organizations, and nonprofits.
