Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking sources capable of professionally installing nine existing slit lamps for the optometry department at the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center. The equipment must be relocated from warehouse storage to designated clinic rooms, assembled, mounted, aligned, functionally tested, and brought to clinical readiness in accordance with manufacturer specifications and applicable safety, infection-control, and regulatory requirements. The contractor must be trained and authorized by Haag-Streit/Reliance and provide a corresponding letter or certification. The scope includes supplying qualified personnel, tools, materials, equipment, service documentation, coordination with biomedical engineering, installation reporting, and an equipment service report documenting the work. All work must be completed within 60 days after award and during normal weekday coverage unless otherwise approved.
