Description
Cook County School District 130 is soliciting a sealed bid for snow removal services at Nathan Hale Campus, George Washington School, Horace Mann School, Lincoln School, and Paul Revere Primary and Intermediate Schools. The scope includes plowing and removing snow from designated parking lots, drives, playground areas, and walkways; relocating snow outside cleared areas; and applying salt as a separate service. Snow and ice service is generally triggered at one inch of accumulation, unless otherwise directed by the Director of Buildings and Grounds. Sidewalk clearing must be completed by 7:00 a.m., and plowing or salting is prohibited during school drop-off and pickup periods. The contract term is 30 months, from November 1, 2026, through April 30, 2029. Bidders must submit pricing for base snow removal, additional snow depth, salt per ton, salt tonnage by location, and salt application per occurrence. The bid package also requires responsibility documentation, including at least three customer references, a description of equipment, and a current certified financial statement, along with specified certifications and affidavits.
