Description
The North Shore Water Reclamation District is soliciting sealed bids for construction improvements at the Gurnee Water Reclamation Facility and Pump Station 5. The work includes demolition of the existing East Scrubber Odor Control System in and around Building 390, installation of a new East Scrubber Odor Control System, and installation of a new odor control scrubber system at Pump Station 5 in the Lake County Greenbelt Forest Preserve. Bids must include bid security of at least 5% of the bid amount. The awarded contractor must provide performance and payment bonds, each equal to the contract price, and comply with Illinois prevailing-wage, public-works substance-abuse-prevention, and related labor requirements.
