Description
Metra is soliciting construction services for a new bridge on the north side of the existing MDN Bridge A-318 to support a second track on the Milwaukee District North Line. The work includes deep foundations, abutments, a steel superstructure, a walkway, railings, conduits, a retaining wall with railings, riprap, grading, and earthwork. The submission must include the Construction Agreement, Representations and Certifications, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise certification forms, Buy America Certificate, a bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid amount, the USDOT Prime-Subcontractor List, and Illinois Works Apprenticeship Initiative documentation. The project has a 20% DBE goal and requires intent to bid and electronic submission through Metra's Bonfire Procurement Portal.
