Description
Salt Lake City Corporation, through its Department of Airports, is soliciting proposals for baggage handling system maintenance and repair services at Salt Lake City International Airport. The scope includes preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance for conveyors, sorters, diverters, scanners, controls, and related mechanical and electrical equipment, along with staffing, reporting, safety compliance, training, and coordination with airport stakeholders. Additional system modifications and enhancements may be authorized at pre-established rates or negotiated case by case. Addendum 2 removes the professional liability and cyber security insurance requirements and confirms that a performance bond is not required. Business personal property insurance remains required. The solicitation requires a $10,000 proposal security, a five-year base term with three one-year options, and submission through the Utah Public Procurement Place portal. The proposal deadline is October 30, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Mountain Time, and an intent to bid is required by October 23, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Mountain Time.
