Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting quotations for 200 O-rings, NSN 5331-01-031-8287, for Mark 46/Mark 48 torpedo applications. The required part is Parker-Hannifin part number 2502774-23, or an approved source-controlled equivalent, and must comply with the cited technical data, quality, inspection, material, and configuration-control requirements. Surplus material is not acceptable, and the item must be free of asbestos. The requirement also includes a production lot testing line item. The contractor must provide samples for government testing after production, with testing governed by the solicitation's production lot testing requirements. Packaging must comply with MIL-STD-2073-1E and related DLA requirements, including opaque waterproof and greaseproof bags, MIL-STD-129 marking, palletization, and inclusion of the government-assigned Otto fuel compatibility verification test number.
