Description
The Maryland Army National Guard is seeking a licensed dentist to provide approximately 1,200 hours of dental examination services during a one-year base period. Required duties include basic and comprehensive dental examinations, interpretation of dental x-rays, identification and documentation of dental concerns, recommended treatment planning, dental health education, and classification of Soldiers under Army dental-readiness standards, including AR 40-35. Dental treatment is not authorized. The contractor must provide a dentist with a current, unrestricted Maryland dental license, current Basic Life Support certification, at least three years of experience serving military populations, and a Common Access Card before reporting to the clinic. The dentist must perform services in person Tuesday through Friday during specified weekday hours, document examinations on DD Form 2813, SF 603, and in DENCLASS, and comply with applicable installation-access, privacy, security, training, and infection-control requirements. The contractor must also develop a quality-control plan after award.
