Description
The Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to The ALS Association to expand outreach and awareness for the National Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Registry. The contractor will promote and enroll patients into the registry and provide continuous outreach, education, and awareness to people with ALS, their families, caregivers, and researchers. Required activities include facilitating patient access to the registry's web portal, distributing educational materials, using social media, and conducting related engagement activities in Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, the Sacramento area of California, Florida, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. The notice states that the Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the cited statutory authority; responses may be considered solely to determine whether a competitive procurement should be conducted.
