Description
Hawaii State Hospital is seeking one or more staffing providers to supplement its existing nursing workforce at a secure inpatient psychiatric facility. The required personnel include Registered Professional Nurses for clinical and leadership or supervisory assignments, temporary-hire Registered Professional Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Psychiatric Technicians or Paramedical Assistants. Staffing will support vacant positions and critical shifts across twelve inpatient treatment units and, when assigned, on and off campus. Exact quantities are not specified; the hospital will request services based on operational needs and pay for actual hours provided. Providers must supply qualified, licensed, medically cleared, and appropriately experienced personnel capable of delivering psychiatric and forensic mental-health care, medication administration, patient monitoring, crisis intervention, documentation, therapeutic support, and coordination with hospital staff. The provider must maintain personnel qualification and clearance records, support required training and accreditation activities, submit monthly itemized invoices, and provide quality-assurance assessment reports. Subcontracting or assignment of the provider's duties is prohibited. The initial contract term is one year with up to five additional one-year extensions, for a maximum term of six years.
