Description
Monroe County is soliciting proposals from one or more vendors to provide supplemental clinical staffing for Monroe Community Hospital’s 20-bed ventilator unit and five-bed pediatric unit. Required personnel may include registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants, and respiratory therapists; respondents may propose nursing services, respiratory therapy services, or both. Staffing needs will vary, with the greatest need expected during evening, night, and weekend shifts, and 12-hour shifts are preferred although 8-hour shifts may be proposed. Provided staff must be qualified by training and experience to work with adult ventilator, pediatric ventilator, and pediatric patients, cross-trained to support both units, and able to escort residents when medically necessary. The selected vendor must provide training specific to ventilator and pediatric care, while the hospital will provide facility orientation and policy training. The proposal must include company information, relevant experience, key-personnel resumes, a project narrative and work plan, pricing, certifications, insurance documentation, exceptions, and the required MWBE/WBE/SDVOB utilization materials. The County anticipates a one-year agreement with three additional one-year renewal options and may select multiple vendors.
