Description
This solicitation is for the demolition of existing analog cameras, DVRs, and cabling, and the replacement with a new IP camera system, NVRs, network switches, and cabling to create a complete on-premises surveillance and Video Management System (VMS) for the NCDHHS Longleaf facility. Bids will be received for a single prime contract. Complete electronic plans, specifications, and contract documents are available via email request. A virtual pre-bid meeting is scheduled for June 22nd, 2026, at 10:00 AM, where the EOR will send out a link to discuss project-specific questions, issues, bidding procedures, and bid forms. Prospective contractors are encouraged to schedule a site walk-through with the EOR. Bidders must include the Identification of Minority Business Participation form and Affidavit A - Listing of Good Faith Efforts with their bid proposal; failure to do so may result in rejection. A proper NC General Contractor's license is required, and subcontractors must have appropriate licenses for their trades. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond of five percent (5%) of the proposal amount, executed by a surety company licensed in North Carolina, or a cash deposit/certified check of equal amount. Payment and Performance bonds will be required from the apparent low successful bidder. Liquidated damages are applicable to this project.
