Description
This solicitation (WQ#27-01) is for the removal of an unused and deteriorating road in Lafayette Park, to be replaced with grass. The City of Fall River Parks Department is the awarding authority. Quotes must be received no later than 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 1st, 2026, electronically via email to dmedeiros@fallriverma.gov, with a copy to purchasing@fallriverma.gov. All quote prices must remain firm following the quote opening. Questions concerning this solicitation must be submitted in writing via email by noon on Thursday, June 25th, 2026, to dmedeiros@fallriverma.gov, with a copy to purchasing@fallriverma.gov. Written responses will be emailed to all bidders on record. MBE/WBE businesses are encouraged to participate. The City of Fall River reserves the right to reject any/all bids or quotes. Any deviation from the specifications must be clearly outlined and explained in detail. The required delivery date is important and stated in business days. The Parks Department intends to award a contract within thirty (30) working days of the bid opening.
