Description
This Invitation for Bid (IFB) seeks pricing for the furnishing, delivery, and assembly of Aluminum Arch Pipe with Aluminum Structural Plate Headwalls. These materials are intended for a Division 2 Bridge Maintenance project located in Pitt County, North Carolina. The solicitation aims to award a one-time purchase contract for these specific bridge components. Vendors are required to submit bids electronically via the eVP (Electronic Vendor Portal). The North Carolina Department of Transportation will be responsible for the delivery of the materials from the NCDOT yard to the job site, but the vendor will be responsible for the assembly of the structures within three working days of the agreed-upon assembly date. Vendors must also provide all necessary hardware and tools for assembly and ensure materials meet or exceed AASHTO requirements for Aluminum Box Culvert with Aluminum Structural Plate Headwalls, designed for LRFD HL-93 loading and NCDOT Standard Specifications. Final design plans, stamped by a North Carolina licensed professional engineer, and safety bracing plans must be submitted for approval within five consecutive calendar days after the award.
