Description
The North Carolina Department of Adult Correction is soliciting bids for eyewear protective cases to be supplied to the Correction Enterprise Optical Plant. This is an agency-specific term contract for items to be provided on an as-needed basis over an initial term of three years, beginning July 17, 2026. The cases must accommodate standard-sized eyeglasses and be made of soft, durable vinyl with a specific merrowed stitch front opening and a soft, non-scratch lining. Vendors are required to submit samples and be authorized resellers of the products offered. Delivery is expected within 5-7 business days of order receipt. Items must be boxed and placed on pallets upon delivery. Items must be a single, solid neutral color such as cream, beige, grey, or black. Bright or non-neutral colors (e.g., blue, red) are not permitted.
