Description
The Air Force Research Laboratory seeks institutional membership in the Acoustical Society of America for a base year plus four option years. The membership will provide USAF representatives with voting participation in ANSI and ASA standards committees and working groups addressing acoustics, mechanical vibration and shock, noise, bioacoustics, speech intelligibility, hearing protection, and related military applications. The requirement also includes integration of USAF representatives, standards-development training materials, access to institutional copies of the Journal of the Acoustical Society of America and additional scientific periodicals, participation in regular and special standards meetings, and membership in specified TAG and S-series committees. The notice states that this is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals; responses are sought only to determine whether a competitive procurement should be conducted.
