Description
The Hawaii State Department of Education is establishing a qualified Vendor List of external service partners to support schools, complex areas, and state offices with establishing, implementing, continuously improving, and sustaining the community school model. Requested service areas include Professional Learning, Technical Assistance, and Specialized Community School Supports. Services may include educator and partner training, coaching, needs and asset assessments, implementation and sustainability planning, partnership development, collaborative leadership, family engagement, integrated student supports, expanded learning opportunities, community school coordination, community-based programming, and evaluation support. Providers may be required to employ and supervise full-time, in-person Community School Coordinators, coordinate community school leadership teams, facilitate action planning, align resources and partnerships, and submit activity reports. Proposals must address organizational qualifications, project examples, staffing and resumes, subcontractors, service approaches, capacity building, evidence of success, and pricing. The resulting Vendor List is expected to support multiple vendors and may be used by schools and offices for individual service orders.
