Description
The City of Kyle is soliciting a contractor for the Full Works Package expansion of its wastewater treatment plant. The Early Works Package will add 1.5 million gallons per day and increase current capacity to 6.0 MGD; this package will expand final treatment capacity to 9.0 MGD. The work includes civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, instrumentation, controls, and related construction services, with coordination required among multiple contractors and ongoing plant operations. Major scope items include package plant and headworks modifications; influent lift station and grit removal equipment; aeration basin and clarifier expansions; RAS/WAS and scum pump station work; rapid mixers and flocculators; UV disinfection and post-aeration improvements; aerobic digesters and blowers; odor control systems; chemical storage and feed systems; storage facilities; site civil improvements; and plant-wide PLC, SCADA, control panel, instrumentation, networking, and electrical upgrades. The package also includes active harmonic filters, computer hardware and software, security-camera infrastructure, testing, commissioning, training, and associated equipment, labor, materials, and closeout work. Addendum No. 5 replaces or revises numerous specifications and drawings and adds updated process-control, electrical, architectural, mechanical, and wage-determination information.
