Description
Wise County Public Schools is soliciting proposals from qualified design-build vendors for a new 40-by-80-by-16-foot post-steel building at Central High School. The project is intended to provide a functional, durable structure and includes all site preparation and stone base work. The building must include a 4-inch, 4,000-psi reinforced concrete slab with a slick-trowel finish; seamless gutters and downspouts; 3 inches of vinyl-backed insulation in the roof and walls; two insulated 10-by-8-foot commercial overhead garage doors; and two insulated 3-by-6-foot-8-inch steel-framed walk doors with locksets. The solicitation identifies the requirement as design-build services and requests one project response.
