Description
The Town of Jonesborough is soliciting sealed bids for labor, materials, equipment, wiring, removal, installation, and connection of four replacement geothermal HVAC units—units 12, 13, 14, and 16—at the International Storytelling Center. The work must provide a complete, operational system and includes piping, electrical work, controls, equipment supports, a pump control system, and auto-flow valves in accordance with Holston Engineering’s drawings and specifications. The contractor must be licensed in Tennessee, field-verify existing conditions before bidding, obtain required permits, and list any intended subcontractors. The bid form requires separate equipment, labor, and miscellaneous pricing for unit 12; units 13, 14, and 16; and pump-control and auto-flow devices, along with a total project price and proposed start and completion dates. The selected contractor must provide workers’ compensation coverage and at least $1 million in liability insurance before beginning work.
