Description
Carter County Schools is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified, licensed insurance carriers—not brokers—to provide fully insured dental coverage for eligible full-time and part-time employees working at least 30 hours per week, retirees, and eligible dependents. The requested coverage should include the current plan design and may include clearly labeled alternative offerings. Proposals should address pricing, services, network performance, renewal terms, and an integrated or carrier-provided COBRA solution. The initial award is intended for one year, with possible annual one-year extensions at the employer’s discretion and subject to mutual agreement and satisfactory performance. The proposal package must include a complete proposal with an unlocked electronic spreadsheet, a nondiscrimination certificate, Tennessee-law bidder certifications, and an addendum acknowledgment if applicable. One printed paper copy is required, along with an electronic copy sent to the consultant; email or fax submissions to the school district are not accepted.
