Description
Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit 13 seeks proposals for leased lit fiber, including optical wavelength services, or leased dark fiber to connect additional member buildings to its existing wide area network. Proposals may cover either or both service options and may be submitted on a circuit-by-circuit basis. The scope includes network equipment, installation or special construction where needed, and ongoing maintenance and operations for dark fiber. Vendors must provide site-specific pricing, service-level commitments, implementation timelines, network diagrams, and route files as applicable. The RFP requests pricing for multiple service terms; the initial term will be selected after pricing review, with up to five one-year extensions by mutual agreement. A bid bond equal to 10% of the total base bid plus additive alternatives is required with every proposal. Performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the contract sum, are required from the selected bidder after notice of intent to award.
