Description
Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit 13 seeks proposals to expand its existing Wide Area Network with leased lit fiber (including optical wavelength services), leased dark fiber, and supporting network equipment. Respondents may propose either or both fiber service options and may submit equipment proposals separately. The scope includes connecting additional member buildings, with service locations and bandwidth requirements detailed in the pricing workbook. Lit fiber proposals must include service-level commitments and network details; dark fiber proposals must include ongoing maintenance and operations. Special construction and non-recurring costs should be priced separately from recurring charges where applicable. Proposals must include the completed pricing workbook and specified response materials, including organizational qualifications, references, educational clients, a current W-9, and applicable taxes and fees. A bid bond equal to 10% of the base bid plus additive alternatives is required with every proposal. Performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the contract sum, are required from the selected bidder after notice of intent to award. The initial contract term will be determined after pricing review; up to five one-year extensions may be exercised by mutual agreement.
