Description
The Township of Hamilton is soliciting qualifications and proposals from attorneys or law firms to serve as affordable housing counsel during the January 1 through December 31, 2027 contract term. The selected professional will provide the duties described in the affordable housing attorney scope of work and must demonstrate the required professional, administrative, and financial capabilities. Proposals will be evaluated based on qualifications, experience, references, personnel, technical competence, understanding of the requested work, availability, and compensation. Respondents must provide a qualification statement, identify key personnel and servicing-office locations, submit at least three similar-project references including at least two municipalities, and address conflicts of interest and recent disciplinary actions. The submission package also requires the designated proposal and disclosure forms, addenda acknowledgment, insurance acknowledgment with general liability certificate, non-collusion affidavit, New Jersey business registration certificate, affirmative-action compliance notice, Iran disclosure, Russia-Belarus certification, and completed W-9. Professional liability insurance documentation is required at contract execution rather than proposal submission.
