Description
Bergen Community College is soliciting qualification statements from attorneys or law firms to provide continuing legal services during 2027. The scope includes general legal advice and representation; preparation or review of College resolutions; litigation; employment and labor matters; public procurement; construction and bidding activities; joint projects with other public entities; environmental compliance; contracting; attendance at regular, special, emergency, and other required meetings; preparation of legal opinions and memoranda; and review or preparation of correspondence. Respondents must submit an executive summary, executed Letter of Qualification, executed Letter of Intent, organizational and ownership information, business history, affirmative-action compliance information, applicable licenses and Business Registration Certificate, professional experience and references, subcontracting information, key-employee resumes, an understanding of the College's needs, required relationship disclosures, and a fee structure. The submission must also include the specified equal-employment-opportunity, suspension and debarment, Iran investment, Russia or Belarus prohibited-activities, and anti-lobbying forms. Qualification statements must be submitted through the designated procurement website by the stated deadline.
