Description
The City of Edinburg is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified heavy equipment rental vendors, including nationwide providers and authorized regional equipment dealers, to establish Master Rental Agreements for guaranteed short-term equipment availability. The scope supports collections, processing, landfill operations, seasonal maintenance, storm readiness, regulatory vegetation management, and disaster recovery. The requested equipment spans four deployment tiers: immediate standby rentals with guaranteed four-hour delivery; seasonal and project-based rentals with guaranteed 72-hour delivery; disaster-response rentals with priority allocation; and small equipment and support tools with guaranteed 24-hour stocking. Equipment includes landfill compactors, garbage trucks, loaders, excavators, pumps, generators, trucks, shredders, chippers, trailers, mowers, conveyors, and maintenance tools. Vendors must provide fixed daily, weekly, and monthly rates, mobilization and demobilization pricing where applicable, maintenance and replacement support, and emergency delivery capability. The contract rates are fixed for a one-year contract, with no standby activation fees.
