Description
The Department of National Defence is soliciting rental, delivery, and subsequent pickup of winter heavy construction equipment for the period from November 2, 2026, through March 31, 2027. The requirement includes agricultural and utility tractors with front- or rear-mounted snowblowers, a compact loader, municipal or sidewalk tractors, a grader, a bulldozer, front-end loaders with snow-plowing attachments, and a tri-axle dump truck. Equipment must meet detailed minimum specifications, including age and operating-hour limits, winter tires or tracks where specified, enclosed heated and air-conditioned cabs, required snow-removal attachments, carbide cutting edges, and equipment-specific horsepower, capacity, and dimensional requirements. Each equipment category will be evaluated separately and awarded to the lowest-priced compliant offer. Suppliers must document how each proposed item meets the technical specifications and provide the equipment year and total engine hours.
