Description
The City of Mississauga is seeking preventative and demand/corrective maintenance services for chemical treatment of cooling, heating, and humidification loops at various facilities. The work includes routine inspections and servicing to minimize bacterial growth, scaling, and corrosion; maintain temperature-transfer efficiency; control cycles of concentration; minimize water and energy consumption; and identify equipment malfunctions. The contractor must respond to service requests, troubleshoot problems, restore equipment to working order, provide maintenance and performance reports, coordinate activities with City staff, comply with applicable safety and operational standards, and supply and install controllers similar to Walchem pH controllers on ice plant systems where needed. The stated contract duration is 36 months.
