Description
Merced Community College District is soliciting bids for replacement of the Administration Building’s multi-zone HVAC system at 3600 M Street, Merced, California. The work includes demolition and removal of one existing multi-zone air handler and one condensing unit, installation of a new hydronic heating and cooling multi-zone air-handling unit in the roof penthouse, and connection of the new equipment to the existing campus energy management system. The scope also includes new 3-inch heating- and chilled-water piping, ductwork modifications, controls and damper integration, electrical connections, duct smoke detection, condensate drainage, equipment supports, roof and building repairs, testing and balancing, Title 24 acceptance testing, fire-safety measures, and related selective demolition. The project budget is $225,000.00, and the required California contractor license classification is C-20 Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning.
