Description

The City of Pembroke Pines is seeking bids from qualified firms to furnish labor, materials, equipment, services, and incidentals for replacing one existing generator and installing one new generator at the West Main Electrical Building generator room at the Pembroke Pines Wastewater Treatment Plant. The work includes demolition and removal of the existing generator, exhaust, silencer, interior fuel piping, day tank, wiring, trailer-mounted generator connections, and related equipment after the first new generator is operational and approved. The project also includes a master generator paralleling control panel, new louvers, silencer supports, wall penetrations, a generator shroud, and associated mechanical, structural, instrumentation and control, electrical, and generator-room restoration work. This federally funded construction project requires prevailing-wage compliance, Davis-Bacon and HUD Section 3 requirements, certified payroll, federal certifications, and bid, payment, and performance bonds. The work must be completed within 18 months after issuance of the notice to proceed.
