Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a contractor to provide aseptic custodial services at the White River Junction VA Medical Center. The scope includes management, supervision, training, and labor for cleaning approximately 189,891 square feet across the main medical center and designated outbuildings. Work includes cleaning public and clinical areas, restrooms, exam rooms, offices, waiting areas, the canteen, and other specified spaces; floor care, including stripping, waxing, and carpet extraction; and cleaning and replenishing dispensers. The contractor must also handle clean and soiled linens, collect and process regulated medical waste and sharps containers, and empty and transport shred materials. The VA provides general cleaning products, disinfectants, floor-care equipment, and specified personal protective equipment. Staffing includes approximately 11.5 FTEs, a working lead, and an on-site supervisor for the primary shift, plus two FTEs and a lead for third-shift floor care. The solicitation is set aside for certified service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses and includes a limitation on subcontracting. Quotes must include a completed price schedule, technical information addressing staffing, management, and quality management, a signed VAAR 852.219-75 certification, three similar-scope-and-size references, and other specified registration and wage-determination information.
